Barangay Sinian in Baliangao, Misamis Occidental has been named the National Winner for 4th-6th Class Municipalities and Barangay Balulang in Cagayan de Oro City finished 1st Runner-Up for Highly Urbanized Cities category in the National Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awarding (LTIA) Ceremony held at The Manila Hotel on November 7, 2024. The said barangays in Northern Mindanao were recognized for their exceptional work in promoting peace and resolving conflicts within their communities.
The LTIA is an initiative of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recognizing the invaluable contributions of Lupong Tagapamayapa teams who dedicate themselves to building justice and harmony. These achievements serve as an inspiration for other communities to further enhance their conflict resolution efforts.
