RANDOM SHOTS: Australian navigator cruise ship Coral Geographer visits Camiguin

For the fifth time since 2015, an international cruise ship has visited Camiguin. The Coral Geographer, a small Australian navigator cruise ship with approximately 52 tourists and 40 crew members, marked the island’s first international ship arrival this year. The daylong itinerary began with a festive Lanzones Festival welcome at Benoni Port, followed by a community immersion experience, a visit to Katibawasan Falls and a trip to Mantigue Island, where guests enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. Camiguin previously hosted international cruise ships like the MS Caledonia Sky (2015, 2016, 2017) and Silver Discoverer (2018). A planned cruise ship terminal in Balbagon, Mambajao is already in the pipeline and set to be completed in two years.
