Following a series of vehicular accidents resulting in fatalities, El Salvador City has amended its Traffic Code to impose new Speed Limits. The revised code sets a speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour (kph) along the National Highway and 20 kph near school zones, aimed at enhancing road safety. Penalty for violators shall not exceed P5,000.
