Let’s take a trip back to when Laguindingan Airport was still under construction. These aerial photos, taken in January 2011, showed the airport more than two years before its official opening on June 15, 2013. The inauguration of Laguindingan Airport marked the end of commercial flights at the old Lumbia Airport in Cagayan de Oro, ushering in a new era of air travel for the region.
