The Municipality of Kauswagan in Lanao del Norte emerged as GRAND WINNER for the Best Hosting International Event category for its successful hosting of the 6th Organic Asia Congress in June 2023 at the just concluded Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) Pearl Awards. LGU Kauswagan also won 2nd Runner-up for the Best Tourism Promotions Brochure category. LGU Kauswagan Tourism Office represented by Lonorhata Sweet Lucman received the awards on behalf of the Municipal Mayor’s Office and Mayor Rommel Arnado during the 25th ATOP National Convention in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
