Iligan City’s Aaron Jude Bado bagged a bronze medal in the recently concluded World Boxing Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It was the Philippines’ lone medal in the tournament. The lanky Bado, a product of Cagayan de Oro’s boxing team, advanced to the semifinals but was declared unfit to continue due a large cut he suffered from an accidental headbutt during his quarterfinal bout with Italy’s Alessio Camialo.
