Today, September 28, 2024, marks a historic milestone as the 3.17-kilometer Panguil Bay Bridge is finally opened to the public. The 2-lane bridge, which connects Tangub City in Misamis Occidental and Tubod in Lanao del Norte, is now the longest sea-crossing bridge in Mindanao. All types of vehicles, except for trucks exceeding 30 tons, are allowed to cross. Construction began in February 2020 was completed in four years despite the pandemic.
