A Feasibility Study for the proposed Laguindingan Flyover is being recommended for inclusion in the 2024-2025 budget. This was disclosed by National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora B. Cariño during today’s Urban Connect x LocalLab: Building a Future-Ready Cagayan de Oro City event organized by USAID Philippines and Liveable Cities Philippines at the City Tourism Hall of Cagayan de Oro.
A rotunda currently sits at the junction of Mayor Orville J Abellanosa Drive (Airport Access Road) and the National Highway. With the anticipated arrival of international flights at Laguindingan Airport, vehicular traffic in the area is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.
