Ar. Felino ‘Jun’ Palafox Jr. the Principal Architect of Palafox Associates and Palafox Architecture Group Inc. led the presentation and official turn-over of the comprehensive development plan and industry locator map of the 77.8-hectare Metro Iligan Regional Agro-Industrial Center (MIRAIC) Strategic Development Plan and Industry Locator Map to Lanao del Norte Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo. The activity was held at the Mindanao Civic Center in Tubod, Lanao del Norte. Situated in the Municipality of Linamon, MIRAIC, which was originally intended for the Linamon Airport, is now poised to become a pivotal agro-industrial hub.
Governor Angging expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its potential to spur economic growth and development in the region. This initiative signifies a major leap forward for the region’s industrial growth.
MIRAIC is envisioned to be the location for export-oriented agribusiness industries and an investment area for advanced agri-processing industries. It is also part of the region’s major and catalytic programs and projects.
