Lt. Juan Guillermo was a member of the Philippine Constabulary who was killed in action during the so-called Colorum uprising in Pamosaingan, Bucas Grande Island in Surigao on January 8, 1924. The street stretching from Hayes Street towards Ramonal Street in Cogon in Cagayan de Oro City was named after him. An old article written by Zosimo P. Mahomoc showed Lt Guillermo’s surviving son residing in Barangay Nazareth (1990).

A historical marker was erected in Pamosaingan with the names of the fifteen fallen members of the Philippine Constabulary including Lt Juan Guillermo.
