For the second straight year, Macabalan Elementary School took home the championship and ₱200,000 top prize of the just concluded Higalaay Festival PE Rhythmic Field Demonstration Competition held at the Misamis Oriental Integrated Sports Complex. Meanwhile, Gusa Elementary School finished 1st runner-up and ₱175,000 prize and South City Central School ended as 2nd runner-up and ₱150,000 prize. More than 1,000 elementary public school students participated in the event which is one of the core events of Higalaay Festival 2024.
Other contingents are Bulua Elementary School, Camaman-an Elementary School, City Central School, Kauswagan Elementary School, Macanhan Elementary School, Tablon Elementary School and West City Central School.
