Thousands of spectators patiently waited for hours as the long-delayed Higalaay Pyromusical Fireworks Competition 2024 finally kicked off with the first entry at around 10:00 PM on Wednesday night, August 21. In the end, Cagayan de Oro’s own Chada Fireworks (Entry #5) claimed 1st place, followed by Starmine Fireworks from Pandi, Bulacan (Entry #2) in 2nd place. Platinum Fireworks from Sta. Maria, Bulacan (Entry #4) secured 3rd place, while Red Star Event & Fireworks from Cavite (Entry #3) and Valenzuela City’s Skyglitters Enterprise (Entry #1) finished in 4th and 5th place, respectively.
