Barangay Poblacion in Iligan City has enhanced security with the installation of 30 new CCTV cameras, increasing the total to 100. Key areas, including Ilaya, Toralba St., De Leon St., and others, are now under improved surveillance. The installation is scheduled to be completed this August, contributing to a safer community for everyone. Meanwhile, CCTV footage recently helped police apprehend a notorious motorcycle thief involved in at least three carnapping incidents in the area.
