The 3.17-km Panguil Bay Bridge is currently undergoing a waterproofing application, a crucial step to ensure its longevity by protecting the road surface from potential water damage. This process is essential to safeguard the bridge’s structural integrity, preventing water infiltration that can lead to deterioration over time. The soon to be the longest bridge in Mindanao includes a 320-meter extra-dosed main bridge, a 1,920-meter pre-stressed concrete girder approach bridge, and a 929-meter approach road.
