No one was injured when a century-old Acacia tree fell in Parola, Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City, during heavy rain on Sunday afternoon, August 4. However, the incident caused damage to three houses and one Kia Bongo truck used to deliver softdrinks. The city’s Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team promptly responded and conducted a clearing operation.
As shown, the cables and wires took most of the load of the fallen tree.
