The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) is now inviting interested parties to submit comparative proposals for the operation and management of the Aquilino Q. Pimentel Jr. International Convention Center (APICC), a 7,700-seater multi-purpose facility on a 4.9-hectare lot located in Sitio Taguanao, Brgy. Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. This following the approval of the unsolicited proposal from Premier Islands Management Corporation.
TIEZA is inviting both local and international companies to submit comparative proposals under a Comparative Challenge Process to operate and manage the facility under a 25-year concession period.
The Comparative Challenge Process will be conducted pursuant to and in accordance with the procurement rules and procedures applicable for unsolicited proposals set out in the Public-Private Partnership Code of the Philippines.
