A traffic officer in Cagayan de Oro is spreading good vibes to motorists with his dance moves while directing traffic at a busy intersection in the city. Sonny Vidal, a former Philippine boxing champion, has become well-known as the dancing traffic officer in the city. A video shared by Christagale Fernandez in Facebook shows Vidal grooving along CM Recto Avenue and President Osmena Street, much to the delight of motorists. His energetic and entertaining approach not only helps manage the traffic but also brings smiles to the faces of those passing by.
On July 4, 1987, in just his 5th professional fight, Vidal won the Philippine light flyweight title with a 9th round TKO over Tacy Macalos at the Gold City Coliseum in Cagayan de Oro City.
