GETTING THERE. The landmark is Blu Energy Gas Station across Malasag Road Junction along the National Highway in Cugman. Main entrance is inside the gas station. The restaurant is part of the By The Bay Compound. See map below.

Parking Area is enough for at least 30 vehicles.

Main Entrance – An arched entry leads to the front yard of the restaurant.

This is the entry point to the front yard with a fountain feature.

The Fountain Feature is the first attraction of the site.

This is just across the restaurant’s main building.

Even the large main doors are Instagrammable…the restaurant is really a converted ancestral house.

Once inside, you’ll be greeted by one of the dining staff and check if you have reservations. If you have no reservations, she will lead you to a vacant dining table.

The first thing you will notice inside the restaurant is its intricate ceiling made of curved split bamboo designed to create a “wavy” effect.

Large facial portraits on walls are also observed.

Of all the areas inside La Baia, the Wine Cellar is the most photographed. Selfies are unlimited.

But we need to take a look of its menu.

Because it was a grand opening, a large buffet was served. Otherwise, on regular days, guests will have to order from the menu.

The restaurant has many dining areas which offer distinct design and ambiance.

Meanwhile, the courtyard is still being prepared which would be perfect for outdoor dining.
