Construction of the 4-lane, 7.2-kilometer Iligan City Coastal Bypass Road, which begins at Barangay Santa Filomena and ends at Barangay Tominobo Proper, is still far from completion. According to the latest progress report from DPWH-10, only about 1.42 kilometers of the total road length have been completed so far. The project also includes a 480-meter bridge spanning Mandulog River.

As shown below, only certain sections near Barangay Santiago and Tibanga have been completed. Construction of a significant section from Saray to Tominobo Proper still has not started.

Here’s a recent satellite map showing the project.

Keep posted.
