Another of the high impact infrastructure projects in Northern Mindanao is the Impasug-ong Boundary Road which connects Barangay San Luis, Malitbog, Bukidnon to the East West Lateral Road then from Malaybalay-Gingoog Road to Barangay Eureka in Gingoog City at the Northern Mindanao-Caraga boundary.
Based on the latest progress update, out of the total 35.85 kilometers road length, 16.41 kms of the 2-lane road are already concreted. Meanwhile, three bridges along the alignment are still ongoing while 4 have been completed.
As shown in the progress map, the grey sections are part of the link but is funded in two other projects, namely: East-West Lateral Road and Malaybalay-Gingoog Road. Still for funding is the section from Malitbog to Impasug-ong.
