PROJECT WATCH: CDO New Western Diversion Road and Macabalan-Bonbon Bridge latest update

DPWH-X Regional Director Zenaida Tan has reported that 3.02 kilometers of the 4.21-kilometer CDO New Western Diversion Road has already been concreted. Meanwhile, the 888.80-meter Macabalan-Bonbon Bridge is nearing 60.40% completion and its connecting 300-meter viaduct has just started construction.

Funding for both projects were lumped into one with the CDO New Western Diversion Road as Section A and the Macabalan-Bonbon Bridge as Section B.

As shown below, only two segments of the CDO New Western Diversion Road – (1.) towards LTO-X area, and (2.) at Canitoan Junction remain and will likely be completed in the next funding year.

This project is among 11 high impact infrastructure projects as reported by DPWH-X.
