The 134-kilometer Malaybalay-Gingoog Road which traverses the eastern part of Bukidnon province is now 87% concreted. Based in the latest project update as reported by DPWH-X Regional Director Zenaida Tan during the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas, an approximate 116.6 kilometers are already paved. The entire length from Malaybalay City to Barangay Santiago in Gingoog is already passable with the remaining unpaved sections near Minalwang in Claveria and Silae in Malaybalay set to be concreted in the next funding years.
This project will fill in the missing linkage connecting Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon.

In the progress map below, ongoing work is observed along the stretch from Minalwang (Claveria) to Gingoog.

Costing some P9,391 billion, the road project aims to improve the quality of life, economic activity and accessibility of people in the area.
Keep posted.
