Brgy Carmen Dragon Boat Team representing the Philippines composed of former drug dependents who are graduates of a Community Based Rehabilitation Program (CBRP) in Cagayan de Oro City, are currently participating in the 2024 China-ASEAN Dragon Boat Festival which started today, June 1, in Wuzhou City, Guangxi, China.
They were featured in three races so far today. They finished 4th in the first two races but finished a strong 3rd in the 500 meters with a photo-finish for 2nd. Watch the 500-meter race below .
