The Asian Development Bank (ADB) through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) will be funding the construction of a 15-storey Startup Complex in Cagayan de Oro City next year. This was revealed by Dr Franch Maverick Lorilla, Director of Innovation Center of USTP System, during today’s Regional ICT Summit and Exhibitions (RISE-10) held at the Event Hall of SM CDO Downtown. To be built at a cost of P3.7 billion, the proposed building will be located right across SM CDO Downtown. Accordingly, the goal is to strengthen innovation ecosystem through infrastructure.
