PROJECT WATCH: MSU-IIT eyes Sports Complex at Hinaplanon Campus

The Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) is planning to build a sports complex at its campus in Hinaplanon, Iligan City. The facility which will include indoor facilities for swimming, badminton, volleyball, etc. and outdoor courts for basketball and tennis, and a stadium for soccer, track, and field events, aims to improve the university’s physical education programs as well as support athletes for both national and international competitions. This development was shared in Facebook by MSU-IIT Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan. Accordingly, the proposal is still in the planning stage and they are looking for funding through the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) or by way of legislative support. Chancellor Ditucalan also shared the complete designs of the sports complex. If this is realized, it will be the first sports complex in Iligan City.
