She has beauty and brains! Ms NATASHA JANE A. BAJUYO, who is participating in the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Beauty Pageant, has successfully defended her thesis online (via Zoom) while at the venue of the pageant rehearsals. Bajuyo is a student of Central Mindanao University in Bukidnon taking up BS Biology Major in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Her thesis advisory committee composed of Dr. Reggie Yadao Dela Cruz (Chair), Dr. Emmanuel Pacheco Leaño and Dr. Eliazar Peniton Jr. wished her well on the pageant’s coronation night on May 22.
Her manuscript is titled: “Differential Gene Expression of Cytosolic Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (GAPDH) un Normal and Mutant “Makapuno” Endosperm of Coconut (Cocos nucifea L.)”
