Clearing activities are currently underway at the site earmarked for the first ever Dialysis Center of the Municipality of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental. Positioned along Old Road in Barangay Talusan, near the border with Barangay Waterfall, this upcoming medical facility covers an area of 3,526 square meters. Additionally, plans also include the construction of a Crisis Center. Balingasag Mayor Alexis S. Quina initiated this project in response to the growing concerns of kidney ailments, which is among the leading cause of morbidity in the locality.
The Dialysis Center will be managed by the Rural Health Unit of Balingasag under the Municipal Social Welfare Development Office (MSWDO).
