A vocalist of reggae band Binhi’s Lasang was shot dead by an unidentified gunman following a concert at Baywalk in Salay, Misamis Oriental Saturday night, April 20, 2024. Police reports revealed that Orly John Ahan aka “Ras Orly”, 25 years old from Cogon, Balingasag town, was at the parking lot near the 420 Reggae Music Festival, when the suspect shot him in the head.
Initial police investigation revealed the victim was already enjoying some drinks with his friends at the Baywalk after his band’s performance when he reportedly received a call. This is when he went to the parking lot where he was shot.
