Another segment of the Misamis Oriental West Diversion Road (MOWDIR) will start construction soon following the recent ground breaking ceremony for the continuation of the Opol – Manticao Section worth P95.89 million led by Misamis Oriental 2nd District Congressman Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano. The project covers concreting of a 1.53-kilometer road which connects Brgy Limonda in Opol to Brgy Tuod in Manticao.
Here’s the project location. The “green” section is the completed road concreting funded last year. The new project highlighted in “red” is a continuation of the same road. It is funded by Senator Chiz Escudero through the efforts of Cong. Emano.

Present during the groundbreaking ceremony were Manticao Mayor Stephen Tan and Vice Mayor Bobby Lagrosas as well as local officials of Opol. Provincial Board Member Dexter Yasay came to represent Gov. Peter M. Unabia. Browse photos below.
