The rumors are now slowly materializing as Cebu-based property developer AppleOne Group Inc. announced its plan to develop a mixed-use complex in Cagayan de Oro. The project will include a branded hotel and residences, marking the company’s expansion of its hospitality portfolio in select cities across Visayas and Mindanao. While AppleOne President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Go Manigsaca did not reveal the hotel brand they will be partnering with, he has confirmed that it will be a five-star hotel.
Manigsaca made the disclosure during an exclusive interview with The Manila Times last Wednesday in relation to the planned launch of the 198-room The Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan set later this year. SOURCE
