A fifteen-year-old girl who stayed overnight at Divine Mercy Shrine in Ulaliman, El Salvador City, was taken to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) after being stung by a scorpion. Ms. Debbie Jane Gatab, Information Officer of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Incident Management Team, reported that the victim, from Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, was with her group inside their tent near the back gate of the shrine complex when her arm started to swell after being bitten by a scorpion at around 5:00 AM today, Good Friday.
