Students of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Claveria (USTP Claveria) residing in Medina, Gingoog City, and Magsaysay now have access to a free shuttle service, easing their transportation concerns. The recently launched Libreng Sakay Service is a joint initiative between the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, led by Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” Unabia, the Office of the Representative of the 1st District of Misamis Oriental, Congressman Christian S. Unabia, and USTP Claveria.
Here are the Shuttle Schedule and Details:
GINGOOG CITY TO USTP CLAVERIA: MONDAYS AT 5:30AM – Pickup point is at the back of the Gingoog City Gymnasium.
USTP CLAVERIA TO GINGOOG CITY: FRIDAYS AT 5:15PM – Pickup point is beside the USTP Claveria Multi-purpose Building.





The service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis with a capacity of 100 students per ride.
This “Libreng Sakay” service falls under the PAGLAUM Strategic Direction, a program of the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental focused on driving progress in the province. It’s also part of the SAGOP KADASIG Program of the USTP Claveria – Office of the VCSAS. Both programs prioritize improving access to education for the residents of Misamis Oriental.
