Cagayan de Oro City officials led by City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy recently led the formal groundbreaking ceremony for KlarexVille 1 of Pagatpat Valley Residences, a mid-rise housing project composed of 20 units of 5-storey residential buildings intended for 2,200 families displaced by the JICA-DPWH Flood Control Project as well as other informal settler families (ISFs). Located in Sitio Pamalihi, Barangay Pagatpat, the project is estimated to cost P2.5 billion.

As per press release, the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) will tap real estate firm Johndorf Ventures for the construction of the condo-type housing units. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among the City Government, Johndorf Ventures and SHFC was also signed following the groundbreaking ceremony.
