The regular People’s Day Program at Cagayan de Oro City Hall, typically held every Wednesday, took on a special twist today as it coincided with Valentine’s Day. City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, in a festive spirit, dubbed the occasion ‘Kasing-Kasing Festival’ and personally distributed flowers and cupcakes to every client he served at the city hall quadrangle. Adding to the romance of the day, the mayor also officiated the civil wedding of one lucky couple, creating a memorable moment they are sure to cherish forever.
Coinciding with the Valentine’s Day celebration, Mayor Klarex officiated the civil wedding of lucky couple Benigno Templa and his wife Maricelle Cabañero.
Meanwhile, other clients were treated with ice cream, mini-games and photo booth for souvenir, aside from availing usual services the city offers during the day.
