Three years ago, Chester John D. Pasco from Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines went to the United States with a meager $300 in his wallet and a big dream in his heart. He had no idea what his future will be. All he knew was that he has a passion for teaching. And just last week, he received the Teacher of the Year Award from Sussex Central Middle School in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the academic achievement and personal growth of students. Chester is an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher at the said school located in Stony Creek, Virginia, USA. Congratulations!
