Fiber optic cables are currently being installed in different locations throughout Iligan City to support the implementation of the new AI-ready CCTV System. A total of 225 CCTV cameras with facial recognition features will be strategically placed across the city. The project’s goal is to identify crime patterns and offer real-time traffic data for the city. This initiative aligns with City Mayor Frederick Siao’s vision to transform Iligan into a Smart City.
