Billions worth of infrastructure projects are calendared for implementation this year by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Northern Mindanao, some of which have already started. Based on the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for FY 2024, included is the controversial P165 million Cagayan de Oro Steel Bridge (along Carmen-Patag-Bulua Road), and continuation of major road projects such as the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Bypass Road (Puerto-Gusa Section), Opol-Canitoan Diversion Road, CDO New Eastern Diversion Road, CDO New Western Diversion Road and a long list of several more.
Below are some screenshots of the long list of new projects. I didn’t include the list of regular repair and maintenance including widening of existing roads and bridges. Some are under the regional office while others are by respective district offices.
