Have you been to Kilawaan River yet? A team from the local government unit of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon recently conducted an inspection of Kilawaan River, situated in Sitio Abyawan near the boundary of Barangays Santiago and Dalirig. The primary objective of the inspection was to assess the site’s potential as a tourist destination. The team focused on evaluating the safety measures for tourists and visitors, while also considering the sustainability and conservation of the natural environment in the area.

The team was composed of the Municipal Tourism Office, Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO), Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), and the Municipal Information Office (MIO). Local barangay officials also joined the inspection.
