Misamis Oriental Governor Peter Unabia has just presented during his State of the Province Address (SPA) today, January 12, 2024 the future blueprint of the provincial capitol property. The joint venture with A Brown Co., Inc. which has been approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, will cover the proposed Capitol Master Development Plan. The focal point of this initiative is a striking twin tower, a 26-storey mixed-use high-rise building that will redefine the skyline, a 5-storey office building and a 7-storey dormitory and office complex. The project is set to span the area currently occupied by the Provincial Jail, extending towards the Capitol Tennis Courts.

As presented, the masterplan development will create a dynamic urban environment for public services, business, living and recreation; integrating open and green spaces where people can enjoy.

The capitol property is bounded by the red lines.

Here’s the location of the new buildings with respect to the Provincial Capitol.
