Tangub City officials led by City Mayor Sabiniano “Ben” S. Canama together with provincial officials, contractors and city hall staff recently held the formal groundbreaking ceremonies for three major infrastructure projects in the city – the P29.9 million Phase 1 of the new 4-storey Tangub City Hall, the P15 million Building 4 and the P9.9 million Building 5, both of the Asenso Public Mall located just a few blocks from City Hall. These projects are designed to improve public services even as the local economy is expected to benefit with the completion of Panguil Bay Bridge Project.
The Public Mall Building 4 was the first to break ground last December 15, 2023.

Then, the new City Hall and Public Mall Building 5 broke ground last January 8, 2024. The new 4-storey City Hall Building Phase 1 will be carried out by SGM Construction and is projected to be completed within 200 days. The new City Hall Building will serve as a symbol of progress and efficiency, providing an enhanced space for local governance.

The new Tangub City Hall is estimated to cost between P250 million to P300 million.

The Public Mall Building 5 (Dry Goods Section) will be undertaken by Blaff Construction and is expected to be completed within a span of 90 days.
