Three more pedestrian overpasses will be built in Iligan City soon. These will be located in Barangays Tubod (across Robinsons Place) and across schools in Sta Filomena and Dalipuga. Each structure costs P9.3 million and construction is being targeted to be completed in 6 months. The said projects were confirmed through the official Facebook page of Congressman Celso Regencia.
The overpasses will follow the conceptual design as shown below.
The Tubod overpass will address the bulk of pedestrians crossing the highway towards Robinsons Place Iligan. Meanwhile, both the Dalipuga and Sta Filomena overpasses will provide safety access to students when crossing the highway.
