Over a thousand golfers representing various golf clubs in the country and overseas will converge in Cagayan de Oro City and Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon next month for the 75th Philippine Airlines (PAL) Interclub Golf Championship set February 19 to March 4, 2024 at the Pueblo de Oro Golf & Country Club and Del Monte Golf and Country Club, respectively. The twin venues previously hosted this prestigious tournament last 2011 when Del Monte bagged the championship.
The tournament is poised to significantly bolster the local tourism industry, with thousands of golfers expected to bring along their families, friends, and media. This influx promises a substantial surge in revenues for various local establishments, including hotels, restaurants, malls, resorts, travel agencies, and tourist services, among others.
