Rain or Shine ended Magnolia’s unbeaten slate in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup with a thrilling 113-110 win at the Aquilino Pimentel Jr International Convention Center in Cagayan de Oro City, Saturday night, December 16, 2023. Import Demetrius Treadwell came through with a near triple-double with 30 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists as the Elasto Painters stretched their winning streak to 3 games.
Andrei Caracut added 15 points while Keith Datu contributed 14 including 4 triples for the Elasto Painters who led most of the game and had to withstand the Hotshots’ rally. Tyler Bey led Magnolia with 30 points while Paul Lee had 22 and Mark Barroca had 20. Jio Jalalon scored 13 points in his homecoming.
