PROJECT WATCH: Concreting of elevated Limketkai Avenue-CM Recto junction latest update

With drainage works already done, concreting of the southbound lanes of the newly elevated Limketkai Avenue is already ongoing. This section of the main road which cuts across Limketkai Center has been raised a few meters from its original ground level connecting the also elevated CM Recto Avenue to the new Bitan-ag Bridge near McDonald’s Limketkai. This was decided to address the flooding problems in the area. You can also observe that the main driveway to Limketkai Luxe Hotel is now just a few feet above the road. Will this finaly resolve the flooding woes in the area? Keep posted.

As shown, one lane has been paved while the remaining lane is being prepared for concreting.

A sidewalk will also be constructed.

The northbound lanes has been temporarily utilized as 2-way traffic pending completion of the project.

Keep posted.

But they still won’t learn to add curb cuts and cover the rainwater trenches in front of these curb cuts.
