VIDEO WATCH: CCTV footage in MSU-Marawi bombing released; accomplice of suspects arrested

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has released a CCTV footage showing the actions of the suspects in the Mindanao State University Marawi Campus bombing just minutes before the blast on December 3 which killed 4 and injured over 40 others. Meanwhile, the military confirmed the arrest of one of the accomplices of the suspects of the deadly bombing incident.

As shown below, the first suspect wearing a black hoodie jacket and a baseball cap entered the gym at 6:03am. He exited the gym at 6:13am. A second suspect wearing white with baseball cap worn in reverse and carrying a black bag is seen entering the gym at 7:03am. Investigators believe both men seem to know each other. The suspect in the black hoodie went back to the gym entrance. Shortly after, the guy in white went out of the gym without the bag at around 7:11am followed by the guy in black. The guy in white is seen holding allegedly a trigger phone. The explosion occurred at 7:12am. Watch the CCTV footage below.

In a press release, combined troops of Task Force Marawi and Marawi City police captured on December 6 a certain Jafar Gamo Sultan, a.k.a. Jaf/Kurot, who is one of the accomplices in the bombing incident.

The suspect, who was apprehended in an operation in Brgy Dulay Proper in Marawi City, is reportedly a companion of a certain Omar, the person identified by witnesses to have placed the improvised explosive device (IED) at the Dimaporo Gymnasium. Also seized by troops are two motorcycles.
