Dante Sudaria, the proprietor of Mindanao Daily News, encountered a moment of concern when he couldn’t locate his cellphone after parking his vehicle in Centrio Ayala Mall’s basement one evening last week for a media event at Seda Centrio. Despite feeling hopeless, he proceeded to the event without his phone. The following morning, he attempted to call his phone and, fortunately, received an answer—it was the mall’s control guard. Rodinio Ragmac, a 40-year-old utility maintenance worker at the mall, had discovered Sudaria’s phone in the parking area and promptly handed it over to mall security. A visibly relieved Dante Sudaria is pictured with Ragmac (center), accompanied by the mall security officer, as he reclaimed his phone from the mall’s security office.
