Romel Calahat from Cagayan de Oro concluded his collegiate basketball career with an impressive double-double performance, amassing a season-high 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals to earn Player-of-the-Game honors leading the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Golden Stags to a 98-89 victory over the Arellano Chiefs in the final elimination round play date of NCAA Season 99 at the Filoil EcoOil Arena last night, November 24. Despite going undrafted in this year’s PBA Draft, Calahat, who has exhausted his final year of eligibility, remains steadfast in pursuing his dream of joining the PBA.
