The remaining bridge segment along the 17-kilometer Alae-Phividec Bypass Road is now almost done and will be opened to traffic soon once cleared by authorities. When completed, the Alae-Phividec Bypass Road will divert traffic along the busy Sayre Highway, Puerto-Alae Section. It will also serve as an alternate road towards Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) in Tagoloan where cargo trucks coming from Bukidnon will be catered directly.

As shown below, the whole length of the bridge is already covered with concrete.

Next is the installation of railings, road signs, road markings and other components.

The project covered 10 kilometers of new road openings, improvement of 7-kilometer existing road, construction of three (3) bridges spanning a total of 237 linear meters, with slope protection and drainage system components.

The bypass road starts at Barangay Casinglot, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental (in front of Mindanao Container Terminal) and pass through sitios Malaiba and Bugna, Barangay Mantibugao and ends at Barangay Alae, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
