Datu Waway Saway, a master artist from the Talaandig community of Sungco, Lantapan, Bukidnon will be at the University of the Philippines College of Music for a 3-week residency program–the Pilot Project of the UPD Culture Bearers-in-Residence Program (Programang Pagpapamana ng Katutubong Kaalaman mula sa mga Tagapaghawak ng Kaalamang-Bayan). A musician, visual artist, teacher, and community leader, he will be conducting special lectures, workshops, and performances during his stay at UP from November 6-24, 2023.
