Cagayan de Oro City thru Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy and the City of Batac, Ilocos Norte represented by Mayor Albert Chua signed a Sister City Agreement yesterday, November 6, 2023 at the City Tourism Hall. The signing coincided during the visit of the local officials from LGU-Batac for a benchmarking activity with the best practices of Cagayan de Oro in various fields.
The City of Batac is known as the hometown of the late former President Ferdinand E Marcos and late former senator Rodolfo Biazon. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 55,484 people. Browse photos below (courtesy of CMO).
